we focused on getting photos of little O for much of the session because mom wanted to capture her at the age(8 mo). Her brother G was shy at the beginning but towards the end when we wanted some of him he came around and let me get some cute ones…

How it works:

2) photos will be uploaded to the contest albums(one for Kids and one for Babies/toddlers) on Facebook – you will be invited to be my friend on there if you are not already one- I need to know parent name to add.(Terry Doerner Geerdts).Or you can just add me and add a message for kids contest.

3) Voting begins next Monday July 19th and ends the following Monday night (26th). Voters comment on child’s photo in order to count as a vote. Comments posted after 11:59pm Monday night won’t count.

4) 3 winners:
Voter’s Choice: The child and the baby/toddler with the most votes wins a FREE individual session in the Metuchen studio and a FREE retouched digital image of choice.

A Pretty Pixel’s Choice:win a FREE individual session in the Metuchen studio and a FREE retouched digital image of choice.

4 runners up in votes will receive a reduced price session of $50 plus one free digital file(total value $225).

Rules:
Photos must be clear and show the child’s face- close ups are best.

Must be willing to travel to studio in Metuchen NJ
Session must occur on a weekday.

I just got back from giving my presentation for the Hudson Valley Professional Photographers Association. What a warm and friendly group. I was told I had many more attendees than they normally get…I packed the house! I’ve had a fear of speaking but managed to get past it and didnt even shake or turn red.
Got great comments on facebook the next day and then received a call from the Westchester PPA inviting me to go speak next year for them! Wow…I’m so flattered.

They are now movers and shakers but I managed a few beautiful portraits none the less…

I am also able to take the individuals and make it into a collage …doesnt it look like they were shot together?
